Today I downloaded from
http://www.nongnu.org/gksu/ gksu-2.0.2.tar.gz
libgksu-2.0.12.tar.gz
These are newer versions than you'll find at
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13.0/system/gksu/I built and installed new packages in Wolvix and I'm thinking
the maintainers have fixed gksu.
Tested gksu thunar and got red banner

Warning, uou are using the root account, you may harm your system|
Also tested with gksu xterm and got a root bash shell
Also tested with wolvix-control-panel repeatedly and it worked.
(WCP tested from both desktop and panel launchers and from a terminal)
Gksu asked for root passwd only once and remembered it.
I'm satisfied gksu is working correctly, but others need to confirm.
This is my first attempt at pkg building and I don't claim to be the guru here.
