# 02/28/10 re: gksu

Today I downloaded from http://www.nongnu.org/gksu/
   gksu-2.0.2.tar.gz
   libgksu-2.0.12.tar.gz
These are newer versions than you'll find at
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13.0/system/gksu/
I built and installed new packages in Wolvix and I'm thinking
the maintainers have fixed gksu.

Tested gksu thunar and got red banner
|Warning, uou are using the root account, you may harm your system|

Also tested with gksu xterm and got a root bash shell
Also tested with wolvix-control-panel repeatedly and it worked.
(WCP tested from both desktop and panel launchers and from a terminal)
Gksu asked for root passwd only once and remembered it.

I'm satisfied gksu is working correctly, but others need to confirm.
This is my first attempt at pkg building and I don't claim to be the guru here.
Actually, credit igoes to jbs1136 at http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/solved-cant-get-gksu-to-work-784919/
