Hi,

fairly new to Linux. I originally installed Wolvix (1.1.1) because it supported video out on my old ATI card and was easy to configure.
I tried the Live Wolvix 2.00 beta 2 with the same x-org config.  I get flashes on the 'tv out' monitor when I try different video modes, but never an image after it loads.
(I also tried using VESA and VGA drivers)
Is there something I have to do to enable TV out or perhaps has that not been added to the beta?

Thanks for any help!

Hi rickabillie!

Similar issue with VGA output ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 5974 (PCIE) here. Working xorg.conf from another distro didn't work either. Only thing I discovered so far is to put cheatcode "noxconf" at boot and I get working 1024x768 resolution.

Some hints to developers or somebody relevant:

the same issue I have early this year with openSUSE 11.1 and at least one other disto of the same vintage. Later it is rectified and 11.2 works properly. Other newer distros, i.e. Vector 6.0 lite, Absolute 13.0.3, Salix 13.0.1, also function properly. Beeing that upgraded kernel, modules, xorg server, radeon driver or something else, I am not enough knowledgeable to say.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for reading this and specially for good work on this project!
