> I came up with the idea a few days ago and I'm not a very good bash scripter, so the script is missing some features, so I'd like very much to hear your suggestion on how to improve it.

I'd like very much to help, since I consider myself a fairly good shell script programmer.
How can I help? Also, I saw that PoW has spin into action already, so maybe a svn repo somewhere will be helpful.

Besides, I remember seeing on your web pages you said that maintaining fluxbox is time consuming. I can't find it any more, have you solve the problem? I think I've found a fairly good solution to have fluxbox maintenance free...

Also, I planned to enhance bootinst.sh to boot partition instead of MBR and add lilo booting support as well, ref:

http://www.slax.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=85533&highlight=#85533

I'd like to submit it to wolvix first, whether you want further submit to slax is up to you, or we can discuss...

cheers.

The improved bootinst.sh sounds good. I think the old script should be kept in addition to any new script for people who prefer installing to MBR. A good README should be included together with the two scripts to explain the difference between the two methods to avoid some confusion.
