Running latest
Wolvix Cub 2.0.0
on P3@650Mhz, 256MB ram laptop. PCMCIA wireless card is recognized as "
RaLink RT2600 802.11 MIMO
", automagically loads
rt61pci
driver and connects to network at boot now that Wicd is configured. Well, it didn't work well (at all) in
Wolvix 1.1.0
, so I'm pretty excited and on the 2.0.0 bandwagon already!
Love
Wicd
; the GUI has enough information and configuration to make connecting to networks transparent and simple, and there's a handy system tray icon in
LXDE
. haven't checked
Fluxbox
or
Openbox
, yet.
Thank you, thank you, thank you
