I'm finally getting around to fleshing out the Wolvix install, which means picking some essential SlackBuilds and...building them.  I started with qt4, a prerequisite for another program.

Didn't work.  Couldn't find make in the path.  Make wasn't installed at all, nor bin-utils.  This is my first time compiling on this Wolvix version, so the likelihood of missing compile prerequisites was high; I checked through this forum and found a lot of contradictory or outdated reports (where is 'meta-development' package? *justkidding*).  Threw up my hands, and just installed the slack12.2 packages with slapt-get, then went ahead and grabbed kernel-headers for currently running kernel version, 2.6.27.9.  Have a feeling I'm missing something, though, so any tips appreciated.

Slackware really isn't for slackers!
