I have been unable to access the forums for a few weeks now and tonight I see I can finally log on. If I tried to log on it would say "you have been banned from the forums jtechlaser". If I tried as a guest it would say "you are banned from the forums guest" Anyone know why this could happen. It would come up the same on all four computers in the house.

Hi jtechlaser.

Glad you can connect now. The reason you've been "banned" is because I've been on a clean-up spree trying to rid the forums of spam accounts. So in certain cases I've banned a full IP range and ISPs. You're not the only one who has been blocked, other users has contacted me being unable to read the forums, so I've removed all the ban triggers which I've set manually. I'm relying on an add-on to the forums now to filter out the spammers automatically.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience I've caused you, and others with my overly eager attempt at blocking link spammers.

Ah, thanks Wolven for getting it sorted out. I can now get my Wolvix/Linux fix. Grin
